Condition

There is an old glue relining. The paint surface has been very well retained and detail in the figures, boats and landscape is very nicely preserved. Examination under UV light reveals only one or two tiny retouches to rock and fortress at left, and a couple in upper sky. Painting is presentable and can be hung in its present state. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame with ribbon twist moldings along the sides surmounted by a cartouche. Some minor nicks.
