Condition
The old glue relining is firm and stable. Overall the figure reads very well. In general, the areas of the hair are a bit thin but,being a sketch, these areas were probably thinly painted to begin with. The flesh tones have been very well retained. Under UV light: there are some retouches to the left side of jaw, tiny pinprick retouches on forehead, and some small ones scattered on chest. Others can be seen on hair at lower left and right side, and a few here and there in background. The painting is presentable and can be hung as is.
Offered in a plain faux-ebony frame.
