The canvas is unlined. The paint layer is stable and the impasto is still thick in many areas, particularly in the details of the figures in the foreground and in the clouds. Very few areas of retouching are evident under UV, some scattered pin points in the sky fluoresce but overall there is little evidence of restoration. The painting is ready to hang and is offered in a carved gilt wood frame.
