Condition
Surface abrasions and weathering throughout front half of figure and upper section of base. Small losses throughout and loss to Child's head. Some small restorations to cracks, but they are mainly stable internal or hairline cracks. Small hole beside proper right hand. Bird's head reattached. Losses around bottom edge of sculpture and her drapery. Some losses and chipping around base and some restored breaks. Remainders of polychromy. Crown lacking. Beautifully carved.
