Both: oil on canvas, canvas is lined. Surface: In generally good condition aside from being slightly pressed and scattered visible retouching in the sky. UNDER UV: Both works show the majority of the sky has been cleaned and re-touched, though the boats and water in foreground appear pre-dominantly free of re-touch and are under the old varnish.
