Oil on canvas, with a strip lining. The edge of the original canvas is visible along the upper right edge. There are minor losses visible along the extreme edges. A stable web of paint separation is visible throughout; retouching to this separation is visible to the naked eye, especially in the door and background at right and near the upper edge at right. Under UV light, the majority of the work is covered by a thick green fluorescing varnish. There is retouching to the aforementioned pigment separation visible throughout the work, especially around the table top and in the background around the figure at left; throughout the background at center; and in the affirmation areas at right.
