Condition
Oil on canvas, not lined. The canvas along the top edge is beginning to tear. The surface is in overall good condition aside from a very shiny varnish; stretcher bar marks and craquelure; and a small loss in the background at upper right. Under UV light, there are small scattered dots and dashes of retouching in the face and shoulder of the figure. Additional retouches scattered in the upper right as well as the lower right.
