Condition

Oil on canvas, lined. The picture is somewhat slack on the stretcher. The picture surface is clean and fresh, and still retains a slight amount of impasto, especially in the whites. Minor pigment separation is barely visible in the grass below the two figures; it has been retouched. Under UV light, there is retouching to address frame abrasions at lower edge. Additionally, three areas of restorations fluoresce in the trees at left and another at center left and in water. Scattered dots and dashes in the grass and finely applied isolated lines of inpainting to the sky.
