Condition

Oil on canvas, with an old sympathetic lining. The surface is in generally fair condition. There is a 2 inch tear with associated loss in the landscape below the horse at lower center. There are small scattered abrasions visible in the clouds, mainly at upper center, as well as some discolored retouches scattered throughout the work.
