Oil on canvas with an old lining. The surface is somewhat flattened. Covered in a dirty varnish with surface dirt as well. Some minor abrasions visible at the upper corners. Under UV light, the surface is rendered difficult to read by a thick, green fluorescing varnish. Some older scattered retouches are visible in the faces and around the hands of the four people at center. Additional minor areas of retouching visible at upper right and upper left. In a plaster, gilt frame.
