Oil on canvas, lined. While the surface is covered by a widely spaced web of craquelure, it is in generally fair condition. There is thinness throughout the sky, but the figures in the foreground and the landscape retain the majority of their detail. Under UV light, there are minor scattered retouches visible at the upper left corner and a small area at the center of the sky. There is additional retouching in the tree trunk at lower right; along the right side of the lower edge; and in the landscape between the wagon wheels and the bull in the foreground. The work is in generally good condition and presents well. In a gilt frame.
