Oil on panel. The panel consists of two joined planks; there is a length of canvas that covers the join on the reverse. The surface is in overall good condition. There are some discolored retouches along the panel crack that runs from left to right through the picture. Additional discolored retouches appear lighter than the rest of the picture. These are visible especially in the sky and scattered along an additional panel crack running 1 inch above the horizon at center. Under UV light, the previously mentioned panel crack, horizontal line, and scattered areas of retouching throughout the sky florescence. Some additional small scattered spots of retouching through the lower foreground, though these appear older. Framed and in overall good condition.
