Condition

Oil on panel. The panel is beveled on all four sides verso. There is a length of canvas adhered to the top edge verso. There is a horizontal panel crack extending from left to right approximately 2 inches from the top edge. The work is covered by a yellow, dirty varnish, as well as surface dirt and dust. Under UV light, retouching is visible along and above the aforementioned horizontal panel crack. Additional scattered retouches are visible in the sky at left. Some minor retouching visible in the landscape at center right as well as at the base of the tree. In a gilt plaster frame.
