Condition

Oil on canvas, lined. Unframed. The work is covered in a fine, stable web of craquelure. Stretcher bar marks visible, especially at center. Though pressed, the surface is in generally good condition. Under UV light, there are small scattered areas of retouching, mainly along the upper edge; the central stretcher bar; and area in the architecture at center left. Additional dots and dashes of retouching are visible scattered throughout the figures.
