Condition

Oil on panel. The panel is somewhat convex from left to right. While the surface is slightly abraded, the figure presents well and retains detail in her costume. Under UV light, there are scattered retouches to the background, particularly at the lower left corner. The majority of these retouches appear to be older. The figure's proper left hand has been retouched, and additional small areas of retouching are visible in her costume, along her right cheek line, the contours of her nose, and the left part of her face. Overall the picture presents well and could be hung in its current condition. In a gilt plaster frame.
