Description

  • Of flower design, centering two cushion-cut sapphires weighing approximately 12.75 carats, accented by 14 cushion-cut sapphires weighing approximately 18.00 carats, further accented by 16 old-European cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.60 carats, accented by six marquise-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 2.10 carats, mounted in white gold.
Set with two cushion-cut sapphires measuring approximately 12.0 x 9.0 x 6.9 mm and 11.6 x 8.6 x 4.9 mm, framed by round, cushion, and oval-shaped sapphires, accented with round and marquise-shaped diamonds.

Condition

In good condition, with minor wear to the white gold mounting commensurate with use. Mountings test as 18 karat gold. The two cushion shaped sapphires, calculated to weigh approximately 6.60 and 4.25 carats, are medium light blue, moderately included with feathers, fingerprints, and abrasions to facet junctions, and a small cavity on one pavilion facet of each stone. The remaining sapphires, weighing a total of approximately 18.00 carats, are of similar color, and slightly to heavily included, with some surface reaching inclusions. The diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 5.70 carats, are G-H color, predominantly VS clarity. Length 1ΒΌ inches.
