The pear-shaped cabochon emerald weighing 9.52 carats, framed by round and old European-cut diamonds, on a detachable chain set with seed pearls, the clasp and pendant loop set with old European, single and rose-cut diamonds, length 16 inches, the pendant with Swedish hallmarks.

Condition

In good condition. The chain stamped with Swedish hallmarks for platinum. The emerald is a nicely saturated medium to medium-deep slightly bluish green, heavily included with a few larger surface-reaching inclusions located in the center of the stone along with other internal fractures, visible upon close inspection. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.10 carats, are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity. The seed pearls display a creamy white to silvery white body color with soft rose and green overtones, fair to good luster and minor blemishing mainly in the form of pitting and wrinkled skins. Length of chain approximately 16 1/4 inches, length of pendant approximately 1 1/2 inches. Accompanied by AGL report no. 1084332 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with no indications of clarity enhancement.
