Each clip centering a carved emerald, set with numerous round and single-cut diamonds, accented with baguette diamonds and calibré-cut rubies; circa 1930. With Charlton & Co. box.

Condition

In very good condition, with very minor surface scratches to the mounting commensurate with light wear. The mounting of the pair of clips tests as platinum, the carrier tests a 14 karat white gold. The two emeralds, carved on front and back, measuring approximately 11.50 x 9.50 x 7.00mm (rough measurement due to mounting), are medium very slightly bluish green, heavily included. The rubies are a medium slightly purplish red color, eye-clean to slightly included. The diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 9.00 carats, are predominantly G-I color, VS clarity with a few SI examples. Dimensions 3¼ x 1¼ inch. Dimensions of clips without carrier 1½ x 1¼ inch. Gross weight of the pair of clips approximately 19 dwts, the carrier 3 approximately dwts.
