Composed of 67 cultured pearls measuring approximately 9.3 to 8.7 mm, on a clasp featuring a 9.12 carat emerald-cut emerald, framed by pear-shaped diamonds, suspending a fringe of round and pear-shaped diamonds, internal circumference 13½ inches, clasp signed Van Cleef & Arpels; together with 27 loose cultured pearls measuring 10.3 to 9.0mm.

Condition

In very good condition overall with some wear and scratching to the mounting, not apparent when worn. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels, metal tests as platinum and 18 karat gold. The cultured pearls present a creamy white body color with moderate rose, purple and soft green overtones, fair to good luster and minor blemishing mainly in the form of pitting. Accompanied b 27 loose cultured pearls measuring approximately 10.3 to 9.0 mm.The emerald is a lively medium slightly bluish green color, moderately included with a few larger surface-reaching inclusions under the table of the stone. Some evidence of color zoning present, with a stronger saturation of color towards the edges. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 20.85 carats, range from approximately G-J color, predominantly VS clarity with one or two SI clarity examples. Accompanied by AGL report no CS 49899 dated May 31, 2012 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: faint, type: traditional.
