Set with an oval sapphire stated to weigh 13.73 carats, the mount of bombĂ© design accented with oval diamonds, size 52, French assay mark.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 64717, dated 19 October 2012, stating that the oval sapphire stated to weigh 13.73 carats, calculated to weigh approximately 14 carats, measuring approximately 16.95 x 13.75 x 6.60mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Please note that the report is dated 2012 and might require an update. Please also note that Sotheby's is not responsible for the accuracy of any estimated weights provided by gemmological certificates. French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Inscribed S 13.73, referring to the stated carat weight of the central sapphire, and B.O. 8.97, referring to the stated total carat weight of the diamonds. Sapphire blue of strong saturation, with good transparency, small typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification. For more information on the sapphire, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 8.00 - 9.00 carats, on average H-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of light wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 17 grams.
