The carved jadeite representing a smiling Buddha, within a surround pavé-set with circular-cut rubies, the pendant hook set with brilliant-cut diamonds, signed Michele della Valle, Italian assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Signed Michele della Valle, maker's mark. Italian assay and maker's marks. Jadeite in overall good condition, with colour zoning, minor scratches to the reverse. Rubies well matched in colour, pinkish red to red, with typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification, minor abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches and little signs of wear to the metal. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 61 grams.
