Sapphire and diamond bangle, 'Panthère', Cartier

The swivel-hinged bangle designed as a panther, pavé-set throughout with brilliant-cut diamonds and cabochon sapphires, the eyes accented with pear-shaped emeralds, the nose with cabochon onyx, inner circumference approximately 160mm, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, pouch stamped Cartier.

Signed Cartier, numbered 230460, French maker's mark. French assay marks, stamped Pt 950 for platinum and OR for gold. Sapphires well matched in colour, blue of strong saturation, partly with typical inclusions. Emeralds green of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, few surface-reaching, minor scratches. Onyx in good condition. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 11.00 - 14.00 carats, G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Clasp secure, sliding safety catch. Little signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 104 grams. Pouch stamped Cartier.
