Description

  • Sapphires, emeralds, rubies, amethysts, diamonds, platinum, gold
Of geometric and foliate design, composed of three rows of sapphire beads, the clasp set with carved and cabochon emeralds, cabochon sapphires, rubies and amethysts, square-, circular- and single-cut diamonds, length approximately 175mm, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, case stamped Cartier.

Condition

Accompanied by a Cartier certificate of authenticity. Signed Cartier Paris, numbered L2984, French maker's mark for Cartier. French assay marks for platinum and gold. Sapphire beads stated to weigh a total of approximately 182.88 carats, well matched in colour, blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, nicks, chips, abrasions and cavities. Emeralds and rubies well matched in colour, green and pinkish red of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface-reaching, small scratches and abrasions. Amethyst cabochons in good condition, with minor abrasions. Diamonds stated to weigh a total of approximately 2.31 carats, on average H-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Scratches to the metal consistent with age and use, signs of tarnish to the clasp. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 47 grams. Case stamped Cartier à l'Infini, inscribed Made in France.
