The demi-parure comprising a necklace of torsade design, composed of eight strands of cultured pearls, to a buckle clasp pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 420mm, and a bracelet, length approximately 210mm; the pair of ear clips pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, fitted cases stamped Cartier.
Condition
Each piece signed Cartier, necklace, bracelet and ear clips numbered 603736, 603715 and 600299 respectively. French maker's mark on necklace obscured by French assay mark, bracelet with French maker's mark for Cartier, each ear clip with French maker's marks for Edouard Blondeau, 23 Rue Le Pelletier, 75009 Paris. Each piece with French assay marks and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Cultured pearls measuring from approximately 3.00 to 3.20mm, of white body colour, with rosé and green overtones, good skin and lustre, some areas of pitting and light scratches. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 7.00 - 9.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Clasps secure. Light scratches to metal consistent with wear. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 96.4 grams. Cases stamped Cartier.
