Sapphire and diamond ring

Set with an oval sapphire stated to weigh 6.92 carats, within a frame of brilliant-cut diamonds, the shoulders further accented with similarly cut diamonds, size 52, French assay and maker's marks.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 77373, dated 10 November 2014, stating that the oval sapphire stated to weigh 6.92 carats, calculated to weigh approximately 6.8 carats, measuring approximately 13.60 x 10.45 x 5.35mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating French maker's mark for Profillet, 14 Rue Chabanais, 75002 Paris. French assay mark, stamped 750 for 18 carat gold and OR for gold. Inscribed S 6.92 and Bts 6.20, referring to the stated carat weight of the sapphire and to the stated total carat weight of the diamonds. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 5.50 - 6.50 carats, on average I-J colour, VS clarity, as far as the yellow gold mount permits. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 10 grams.
