Of foliate design, set with a step-cut pink spinel, the mount embellished with cultured pearls, circular-cut, cushion-shaped and rose diamonds, maker's mark for Karl Rothmüller, case stamped Karl Rothmüller.
Condition
Maker's mark for Karl Rothmüller, stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Step-cut spinel measuring approximately 16.76 x 12.35 x 6.79mm and calculated to weigh approximately 12.75 carats, pink of medium strong saturation, with good transparency, a few minor abrasions. Cultured pearls well matched in colour, of white body colour, partly with rosé and green overtones, good skin and lustre, minor blemishes. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.50 - 3.00 carats, on average J-L colour, I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with age and use. Clasp secure, sliding safety catch. In good condition. Dimensions approximately 45 x 29 x 12mm. Gross weight approximately 15 grams. Case stamped Karl Rothmüller, Hofgoldschmled, München, Perusastrasse 3.
