Emerald and diamond sautoir

Composed of a line of graduated brilliant-cut diamonds, alternating with baguette diamonds, supporting a pendant set with a pear-shaped emerald highlighted with pear- and marquise-shaped diamonds, length approximately 730mm, French assay and maker's marks. 

French maker's mark. French assay marks for gold and platinum. Emerald measuring approximately 24.55 x 15.38 x 6.65mm, green of medium strong saturation, with typical surface reaching inclusions, small scratches, abrasions and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 41.00 - 45.00 carats, on average H-J colour, VS-SI clarity, a few I, as gauged and graded in the mount. Evidence of light wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 105 grams.
