Comprising: a necklace designed as a line of cabochon rubies framed with brilliant-cut diamonds, alternating with foliate motifs set with circular-cut emeralds, length approximately 440mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, may be worn as two bracelets, length approximately 175mm, additional link similarly set, French assay and maker's marks, and a pair of ear clips, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Accompanied by two Van Cleef & Arpels certificates of authenticity. Each segment of the necklace signed Van Cleef & Arpels or V.C.A., numbered 18355, French maker's marks for Van Cleef & Arpels and for Billy, 48 Rue Jean-Jaurès, 06400 Cannes. Each ear clip signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 17804, French maker's marks for Van Cleef & Arpels. Each piece with French assay marks and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Emeralds well matched in colour, green of strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, scratches, abrasions and small nicks. Rubies well matched in colour, purplish red of strong saturation, translucent, with surface reaching inclusions, scratches, nicks, chips and small cavities. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 34.00 - 38.00 carats, on average F-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Small scratches and signs of wear to the metal. Clasps secure, safety catches. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 113 grams.
