Set with a cabochon sapphire stated to weigh approximately 15.42 carats, to the openwork scrolled shoulders embellished with circular-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white gold, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, with French assay mark and Van Cleef & Arpels maker's mark. Ring size: 6

Condition

Accompanied by Gübelin and SSEF reports numbered 17011070 and 91738, dated 3 February 2017 and 26 April 2017 respectively, stating that the sapphire is natural, of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. Please refer to the reports for further details. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered ML 3238, with French maker's mark for Van Cleef & Arpels and French assay mark for gold, stamped 750 and 52 for 18 karat white gold and European ring size, inscribed 15.42 referring to the weight of the sapphire. Sapphire blue of medium strong saturation, with minor typical inclusions and a few are surface reaching, some nicks and minor colour zoning, a few minor chips and scratches; but all are not noticeable to the naked eye. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 0.50 carat in total, on average E to F colour, mainly VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of minor wear to the metal with some scratches, overall in very good condition.
