Description

  • Jadeite, Diamond, White Gold
  • Beads approximately 9.70 to 5.15mm.
Composed of sixty-three graduated jadeite beads of good translucency and bright emerald green colour, spaced by faceted diamond rondelles, to a millegrain-set marquise-shaped diamond clasp, the diamonds weighing approximately 18.00 carats in total, clasp signed Tiffany & Co. and numbered, length approximately 480mm.

Condition

Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade and Stone Laboratory report numbered SJ146111. Also accompanied by SSEF report no. 79750, stating that the sixty-three jadeite beads measuring approximately from 5.15 to 9.70mm, were found to be natural, type A, with no indications of impregnation. Clasp signed Tiffany & Co. Jadeite beads well matched in bright emerald green colour of good translucency, with typical inclusions. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 18.00 carats in total, marquise-shaped diamond estimated to weigh approximately 0.50 carat, H - I colour, VS clarity. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. Overall in very good condition.

Catalogue Note

Accompanied by SSEF report numbered 79750, dated 30 March 2015, stating that sixty-three jadeite beads are of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of impregnation, SSEF also commented that these jadeite-jades may also be called 'jadeite-jade type A' in the trade; further accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificate numbered SJ 146111, dated 10 February 2017, stating that the jadeite tested is natural, known in the trade as "A Jade".
