  • Aquamarine, Diamonds, White Gold
Each set with shield-shaped aquamarine weighing approximately 20.00 carats in total, embellished with baguette, circular- and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 4.50 carats in total, mounted in platinum, signed Yard, one pendant hook later-added.

Both brooches signed Yard, mounted in platinum and pin fitting in white gold as tested. Aquamarines estimated to weigh approximately 20.00 carats in total, of blue colour and light saturation, eye clean, one with very minor natural inclusions, both with some nicks, minor chips, abrasions and fine scratches. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 4.50 carats in total, about E to F colour, mainly VVS to VS clarity, a few with minor chips at girdle, as gauged and graded in the mount. Both show signs of normal wear to the metal as commensurate with age; one brooch with signs of minor repair and a small gallery is detached from the metal but does not affect the durability of the piece; the hook on the other brooch is possibly later addition; overall in good condition.
