Condition

The canvas appears original. The frame and possibly the stretcher bar are slightly warped. There are some small possible instances of loss to some of the thicker raised tips of impasto, only visible upon extremely close inspection. There are some minor instances of craquelure and possible reticulation. There is minor surface dirt and dust. This excepting, the work appears in excellent overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals areas of fluorescence, which appears in line with the Artist's materials and does not suggest retouching. The work is held in a simple wooden frame.
