Bequeathed by the above to the family of the present owner in 1967, and thence by descent

Condition

There are one or two minor cracks to the sitter's left hand side, in line with the grain of the wood. These appear stable. There are traces of light surface dirt and dust, and some minor flecks of surface matter, visible upon very close inspection, and light rubbing to the protruding elements, but this excepting the work appears in very good overall condition.
