Condition

The sculpture is sound. There is light wear to the base, where the sculpture rests on the surface. There are some tiny spots of oxidisation, only visible upon extremely close inspection. There are one or two small areas of pitting to the surface, most noticeable to the top of the figure's forehead, and some minor traces of casting residue in the crevices of the bronze. There is an uneven patina. Subject to the above the work is in very good overall condition. The sculpture is freestanding.
