Condition
Not examined out of the frame. The sheet appears to be adhered to the backing card at several places around the edges, but does not appear to be laid down. The sheet appears sound. There are Artist's pinholes in each of the four corners. The edges of the sheet are slightly uneven at the upper and right edges, thought to be consistent with the Artist's materials, and there is some slight rounding to the corners. There is some very fine cracquelure in places to the black pigment where it has been applied over the brown pigment, with some associated losses in places. There may be some slight discolouration to the sheet. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition.
The work is float mounted and presented in a painted wooden frame, held under glass.
