Condition
Original canvas. The canvas is very slightly loose on its stretcher, and slightly undulates in the bottom left quadrant. There is a faint stretcher bar mark along the upper edge and a minor undulation in the lower right corner. There is some minor cracking to the extreme edges of the canvas towards the upper right corner and a minor area of possible frame abrasion to the centre of the right edge. There is some studio detritus towards the centre of the lower edge, and there is a very light layer of surface dirt to the work. Subject to the above the work is in very good overall condition.
Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of restoration or retouching.
The work is float mounted within a simple wood frame.
