Condition

Original canvas. The canvas undulates slightly in places and there is a push to the centre right of the canvas, with some associated lines of craquelure, with a further small push to the centre left of the canvas. There are some minor instances of frame abrasion around the edges of the canvas, including a couple of spots of loss to the edges at the lower left corner. There are some lines of craquelure, most apparent in the lower right and upper left quadrants. There is a small fleck of loss to the green pigment in the lower left quadrant, with some further small flecks of loss visible in places. There is some light surface dirt and specks of studio detritus and staining in places. Ultraviolet light reveals some areas of fluorescence, which are thought to be in keeping with the Artist's materials. The work is presented in a painted wooden frame.
