Condition

The sheet is free floating and undulates very slightly, but otherwise appears sound. There is an Artist's pinhole at the centre of the upper edge, and the upper edge has been unevenly cut, not visible in the present frame. There is fading to the pigments, not apparent in the current frame, and there may be some discolouration to the sheet. There are one or two light traces of surface dirt and studio detritus, but subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition. The work is presented in a painted wooden frame, held under glass. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
