Provenance
Gimpel Fils, London, where acquired by the present owner, September 2004
Condition
The work is set within a card mount and the edges are not visible, but the work does not appear to be laid down. The sheet undulates slightly and there are some light creases and handling marks, predominantly towards the lower edge of the sheet. There is a spot of staining in the lower left quadrant, and some traces of other minor studio detritus. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition, with strong, fresh passages of medium throughout.
The work is window mounted and presented in a simple wooden frame, held under glass.
