Condition

The sheet is attached to the mount with tape and possibly laid down along all four edges, but is not fully laid down. There is a small horizontal tear in the lower section of the right corner, with some extremely minor associated losses to the sheet, visible upon close inspection. There is a very small loss in the upper right corner, not visible in the present mount. There is a crease in the lower left corner. The sheet is very slightly discoloured throughout and there are faint handling marks around the edges. The sheet appears to have been professionally cleaned in the past and there is a small old paper repair in the lower left quadrant, only visible upon extremely close inspection. There are some minor traces of studio detritus towards the lower edge. Subject to the above the work is in very good overall condition. The work is window mounted and held within a simple wood frame under glass. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
