Condition

The sculpture consists of two elements which slot into a slate base. These elements both appear sound. There are some slight casting imperfections and one or two possible scuffs to some of the edges of the work in places. There are some extremely small pits in places to the surface, which are thought to be as a result of the casting process. There are some extremely minor instances of one or two fingerprints and light smudges of surface dirt to the work in places. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in excellent overall condition. The work is affixed to a slate base, which has some small scratches and chips to the upper side, and the front upper left corner is slightly chipped. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
