Condition

The sheet is attached to the mount with one adhesive tab in each of the upper corners. The sheet appears sound. There are several extremely tiny pin holes to the sheet, including in the upper left and lower left quadrants. There is some staining to the sheet around the edges, and some possible very light fading to the pigments, both of which are only apparent when viewed unframed. There are a few light, possible specks of staining, light surface dirt and studio detritus, and possible foxing. Subject to the above the work appears to be in good overall condition. The work is window mounted, and held in a simple gilt frame under glass. Please contact the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
