Condition

The sheet has been taped onto a supporting board with two tabs at the upper edge. The right edge is perforated and suggests that the sheet was removed from a sketch book. The sheet is very slightly cockled in places. There are some light scattered creases across the work, including but not limited to, three diagonal lines which run along the bottom of the composition (one of which is only visible when the work is viewed out of the mount) and another line at the upper left corner with a small associated tear at the centre of the left edge. There is some light surface dirt across the sheet, including a mark in the lower left corner and at the extreme edges of the sheet, only visible when viewed out of the mount. With the exception of the above the work appears to be in very good condition. The work is presented in a window mount and held behind glass in a washed wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
