Condition
The canvas is original and appears sound. There is a small scuff to the upper left of the cream section of pigment. There are some isolated instances of craquelure: towards the top of the right vertical edge of the yellow area of pigment; to the cream pigment where the black line is, towards the top edge of the canvas; to the white pigment at the lower right edge, to the right of the circle; and to black pigment at the lower left edge of the purple square. There are also one or two fine lines of reticulation in one or two places. There are some fine lines to areas of the yellow pigment, which appear to be a result of how the paint has dried. There are some traces of light surface dirt and studio detritus. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
The work is presented in a simple wooden frame.
