Condition

There is an extremely fine, very minor possible firing fracture visible to the underside corner of the vessel upon extremely close inspection, and most probably in keeping with the nature of the artist's techniques and materials. There is a small spot of craquelure to the black painted slip on the inside of the neck, visible upon closer inspection. There are further traces of very minor reticulation to the black painted slip on the lower quarter of the piece, towards the base, again, only visible upon closer inspection. There are some traces of light surface dirt and possible studio detritus, but this excepting the work appears in very good overall condition. Inspected under ultraviolet light.
