Catalogue Note

This compilation (see also lot 67) is by Henricus de Balma; for another copy of the first work, see lot 65. The printer of the second work, Gerard Leeu, was the first printer in Gouda, where he began printing in 1477. He continued in Gouda until 1484, after which he moved to Antwerp.

Although the Charterhouse of Weddern had its own bindery, none of the stamps recorded in Einbanddatenbank match this binding. The monastery was dissolved in 1804.
