Catalogue Note

FIRST COMPLETE EDITION of the works of Aeschylus; six of the plays were first published by Aldus in 1518, and the Agamemnon is published here in full for the first time. It had been found in a manuscript in Florence by two of Vettori's pupils in around 1552.
