i) Walton, Izaak. The complete angler: or, contemplative man’s recreation. London: Thomas Hope, 1760, 8vo (176 x 105mm.), second part with separate title page, 2 engraved frontispieces and 14 plates (including 2 music plates), illustrations throughout, full green morocco, spine gilt in compartments, gilt dentelles, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers [ESTC T84919] [Spencer Cowper, ownership signature], some light rubbing to boards

ii) White, Gilbert. The natural history and antiquities of Selborne. London: White, Cochrane [&c.], 1813, 4to (252 x 190mm.), new edition, half-title, engraved folding frontispiece, fly-titles with engraved vignettes, 8 plates (one of which hand coloured), full calf, Greek border in gilt, spine gilt in compartments, marbled endpapers, all edges marbled, lower board scratched at foreedge, hinges fragile, some offsetting;



iii) [Jennings, Robert—Roscoe, Thomas]. The landscape annual. London: Robert Jennings, 1830-1839 [i.e. 1829-1838], 10 volumes, 8vo (196 x 123mm.), complete set, each with engraved series title, engraved plates by S. Prout, J.D. Harding, David Roberts, and James Holland, original green cloth, lettered in gilt on spine, all edges gilt [Clement and Elizabeth Ingleby, bookplates and presentation inscriptions in all but one volume, dated 1829-1838; Annie Frick Smith, presentation inscription dated 1873], shelfmarks in tippex on spines, some rubbing to bindings, occasional spotting and browning
