Catalogue Note

Boninus de Boninis started his printing career in Venice in 1479 before moving to Verona and then Brescia, in 1483. He first printed Macrobius in 1483, which was the first edition to contain a map, and this is a reprint of that edition with the same map. Copies are also known with the date 31 May instead of 15 May 1485.
