FIRST EDITION, 3 parts in one volume, 4to (226 x 170mm.), engraved and woodcut portraits, numerous woodcut illustrations in text, some full-page, errata-leaf at end, nineteenth-century brown morocco gilt, spine gilt in compartments, occasional pen notes, hole to I, restoration to 2G, some illustrations appear cut, minor staining and browning, binding lightly worn with minor stains
